Industrial Steampunk Workshop
The Brassworks is a fully realized steampunk workshop environment built to explore dense mechanical layouts, layered metal surfacing, and industrial-era storytelling through props and machinery.
Featuring steam conduits, pressure dials, boilers, ornate metal walls, and mechanical systems, the environment demonstrates how modular hard-surface elements can be combined to form a richly atmospheric production space inside Unreal Engine.
The project emphasizes both artistic expression, through Victorian ornamentation and technical structure, ensuring assets remain optimized for cinematics and real-time workflows.

Tools &
Pipelines
• Unreal Engine — lighting, assembly, and scene setup
• 3ds Max — modeling modular structures and machinery
• ZBrush — sculpting ornate and mechanical elements
• Substance Painter — PBR surfacing and texture detailing
• Photoshop — polish, grading, and final presentation
Deliverables
• Complete workshop environment assembled in Unreal Engine
• Modular wall, machinery, and piping systems
• High-poly sculpted mechanical components
• Low-poly game-ready assets with clean UVs
• Substance-authored PBR material suite for metals and machinery
• Showcase renders capturing lighting, atmosphere, and detail passes

impact
The Brassworks demonstrates UVShift’s capability to construct high-density industrial worlds suitable for cinematic storytelling, game environments, and atmospheric trailers.
It highlights mastery in modular environment design, hard-surface construction, and detailed material workflows—making it a strong representation of the studio’s end-to-end production depth.
